Step 1 – Go to Appearance -> Menus in your Dashboard
Step 2 – Add a menu and give it a name
Step 3 – Click “Create Menu”
Step 4 – Select the pages you want to include in your menu
Step 5 – Click “Add to Menu”:
Step 6 – Re-order menu items by dragging and dropping:
Step 7 – Customize the Navigation Label
Step 8 – Save Menu:
Step 9 – For sub-menu items, drag the item to the right and drop
Step 10 – Save Menu
Step 11 – Select your custom menu as the Primary Menu and Save:
That’s it. You now have a custom menu which you can easily update by adding more pages, changing the order, customizing labels and adding sub-menu items by dragging them to the right under the parent item. Repeat the steps above to create additional custom menus to be used in your sidebar or footer widgets.
